WELCOME
Once upon a time, in a magical land that was called the United States, a poor boy sat at home on the computer - almost bored to tears. And although it was war time, and he could be out supporting his country or some other patriotic mumbo jumbo, he was looking for something entertaining. And what, may you ask, is so entertaining? Why Roleplaying of course! Now I Seq, am looking for a Roleplayer. Think you are up to par? Let's find out! =D
RULES
1. Literacy, my friends, does INDEED matter. I enjoy proper spelling, or at least an attempt to do so. {I make mistakes all the time. I bet you can find a number of them in this little doozy.} Grammar is nice to. I don't want to know that your character; "Sit in chair." He SAT in THE chair! Other than that, just give me a nice introduction. A paragraph or two per post afterward would be just lovely. Just something I can respond to, and I'll be chipper! =D
2. I don't double. I tried. I'm pretty bad at is, as I tend to favor one of my characters over the other. I do bring in minor characters, or I may even switch characters in the middle of a roleplay. I can be anything from a cup of mocha to the President, if it's a side character needed for the plot. Just don't expect me to make it a second character. I have one. I play one. One that note;
3. Characters! I like diverse characters. If you're playing a made up, MY GOD JUST LET THEM BE! I don't want the pale, vampire girl or the cheerleader or the submissive girly boy. I want an actual person to roleplay with. Why? Because characters have believable flaws. Not EVERYONE can have a battered past, have pyrokinesis, be bad with relationships or weigh 100 lbs. My characters are diverse. One has a family of 20. Another is an immigrant. And yet another is physically disabled. Is it too much to ask if you're diverse and original too?
4. Coming from the character note, please realize I like to play male slash. That means two men, having a relationship. If that's odd to you, I'm sorry? I am indeed, capable of playing a male and female relationship - but you're going to have to do major convincing, seeing as I get tired of playing a man to a steriotypical female. Female x Female? That's so highly unlikely that I'm afraid to even list the possibility. {I suppose my exception to this is in Gatekeepers 21.} Conclusion? Male x Male, Male x Female on a good day. Female x Female in one genre.
5. On to the topic of me... {I'm starting to sound egotistical, aren't I?} Please don't contact me if you're not going to talk to me. Honestly, I don't want to roleplay 24/7. And when I have school? I really don't want to roleplay. I want to work on my papers that are due. And you know what? I want to know about you too! No, not your real name or address, but it'd be nice if I had something to call you by. It'd be nice to know what you like, or how your day is. Just respect me in that way, and I'll treat you like gold. I promise.
6. Availibility! I'll be pretty available. I'm on for a long time - but please IM ME FIRST. I know people don't like sending a, "How are you?" everyday, but I'm multi-tasking, and I don't check my buddy list too often. Just send me a little hello, and I'll be happy 90% of the time to roleplay WITH you. Just don't stop talking to me all of the sudden. Tell me please if you don't want to roleplay anymore. If able, we can come up with a new plot, or go our seperate ways. Either or, just tell me. {Note; I live in the Eastern Time Zone - so excuse me if I don't stay on too late? It's later for me than you, West Coasters! x3}
7. Stuff! Romance, violence and swearing? I like all of those things! But, if you don't, I expect you to tell me. Please tell me your limitations, because I certainly have none. {Except for M-PREG. That's a no-no in my book. Sorry. But it's not physcially possible unless it's a medically documented case of Fetus In Fetu... Or the man isn't really a man. Either or, I'm not interested in.} Again, tell me your limitations, because I have none.
8. I only roleplay through AIM. Most of you hate this rule. I don't blame you. However, I don't have MSN, I'm not into Gaia and I'm not downloading YIM again. I may be persuaded for an E-Mail roleplay. Sadly, I don't check my E-Mail often and therefore forget to answer a roleplay.
